In this blog post I am bringing videos about learning effective communication skills. Most of the people are not aware about their communication skills. Even those who have very good communication skill, don't know that they do have. The good communication skill makes one's life easy, peaceful and successful. While bad one make life difficult. We do communicate with others without speaking a single word. To find out all these watch these videos.

Because the person you interact with, receives what is in your mind without you speak, feel yourself what you want the person to feel about you. Only the emotionally strong person can do so. So to communicate effectively become emotionally strong.

Interesting wedding ceremony traditions

In this blog posting I am bringing videos about interesting wedding ceremony traditions. Wedding is one of the very very important occasion in every married person's life. Therefore every one wants to make this occasion memorable. In different cultures there are different interesting wedding ceremony traditions to make the occasion memorable.
I have selected three traditions, namely 'banquet and garter toss' of western culture, 'tea ceremony' of Chinese and Japanese culture, and 'shoe hiding' of Indian culture.

  • Banquet and garter toss
First watch this beautiful video about banquet and garter toss, then i will tell something more about this tradition.

This is believed that this tradition was started way back in 14th century in France. That time there was a tradition, according to which guests invited in wedding receptions use to take way the things used by bride. But sometimes it was too difficult to control the guests, eager to take away the bride's things, because bride's used things were considered to be very auspicious. To solve this problem later on tradition was little modified and brides started throwing garter used to fasten the stockings on the guests. But this modification in the tradition created another problem. The invited drunken guest were not able to wait for bride to throw the garter and they themselves use to try to pull the garter out, from the bride's leg.

Now brides wear two garters under the wedding dress on the right leg, one actually to fasten the stockings and second one for groom to pull out from her leg. First bride stands in-front of single female guests facing away from them and throws banquet towards these guests. This banquet is made of selected flowers. There is thinking that the female guest who catches the banquet is next to marry.
After the banquet toss bride is made to sit on the chair in-front of single male guests. Now groom pulls out the garter from the bride's right leg and throws towards the the single males facing away from them. The male single who catches the garter is considered to be the nest man to get married.
For this occasion there specially composed musics and lot of planning is done well in advance.

  • Tea Ceremony
Watch this video about 'Chinese wedding tea' ceremony.

In the video we see that groom has do many tasks, asked by the bride side, to reach to the bride and unite for ever. In Chinese wedding ceremony tea has a very important roll. Tea is the symbol of acceptance. During wedding ceremony specially prepared tea is offered. Accepting the tea is the symbolizes accepting the person offering the tea.

  • Shoe hiding Ceremony
